And here we go for the 28th Cartoon Forum!

And here we go for the 28th Cartoon Forum!

Cartoon Forum started on Tuesday 12 September with the presentations of Marc Vandeweyer, our General Director and our main partners: Jean-Luc Moudenc, Mayor of Toulouse & President of Toulouse Metropole, and Dominique Salomon, Vice President in charge of Culture for the Region Occitanie. Together they officially launched the 28th Cartoon Forum.

This year 23 countries will be presenting their 82 projects to participants from 40 countries, which include 950 producers, investors, distributors, buyers and SVoD/VoD platforms.

Marc Vandeweyer presented the "Spotlight on Poland". For the second time, Cartoon Forum will be putting the spotlight on a specific country during the event: Poland. As Cartoon Forum is now established in Toulouse (France - Occitanie, Pyrénées-Méditerranée) since 2012, it seemed to us right, each year, to put the spotlight on the animation of a “country of honour”, in order to keep the focus on the animation of a country, as was the case when the Cartoon Forum used to travel across Europe.

Marc also introduced the European Animation Plan

We thank all our partners and wish to our participants a great Cartoon Forum 2017!
