Pierre-Luc Granjon was born in France in 1973. He started working in animation in 1998 as modeler, then as animator at Folimage, where he made "Petite Escapade" (2001) and "Le Château des Autres" (2003). Together with Pascal Le Nôtre at Folimage, Pierre-Luc directed in 2007 “L’Hiver de Léon”, a 26-minute film in 3D. He is currently working on the sequel of it, “Le Printemps de Mélie”, and also has a feature film project, “L’Armée des Lapins”.

« "The White Wolf" was born from an image in my mind. A family is sitting around a table, the mother is getting ready to kill a rabbit that the father has just brought home. Their two children are watching this scene without flinching, no doubt because they are used to it. Around this image, I created a short tale that verges on the nightmarish.

In this story, the wolf is not an evil character. No one is, since the responsibility for the ensuing drama cannot be attributed to anyone. The parents have their own worries, namely to feed the family, and the children live in their own world of games. These two worlds are impervious, and it is in this space that the drama stems. But in the world of these two children, the tragedy will be short-lived, as life will inevitably have the upper hand. »
