For the 10th consecutive year, Cartoon Movie will be held in the Studio Babelsberg in Potsdam, near Berlin.
The Studio Babelsberg is the oldest major film studio in the world. Famous films have been shot in this place, including “Metropolis” (by Fritz Lang, 1927) or “Der Blaue Engel” (1930, starring Marlene Dietrich), and more recently “The Pianist” (by Roman Polanski, 2002), “The Constant Gardener” (2005) or “V for Vendetta” (2006).
Cartoon Movie takes place in the most recent studio of Babelsberg, the fx.Center, at the entrance of the site entirely dedicated to audiovisual production and postproduction.
Potsdam can be easily reached within 30 minutes from the Berlin airports (Tegel or Tempelhof).
