French legislation requires us to apply VAT of 19.6% to our invoices for participation fees, accommodation costs and other expenses, but excluding travel expenses.
Any liable company/person who is not registered in France can recoup this VAT. You just need to contact a VAT refund specialist who will reclaim the VAT on your behalf.
