In case of several reservations per company, please specify whether it is necessary that the various people be lodged in the same hotel. We will do our best to satisfy you depending on your date of registration and the availability of hotel rooms.
The Cartoon Forum will take place in the old town centre. All hotels located in the city centre are within walking distance.
Three hotels are situated on the nice wooden hill of Sopron, only 5 minutes away by car from the city centre. The best quality hotel is in this area. The hotels vary in quality. Some hotels are very modern, some have been recently renovated, some are quite charming and some are a little bit old, in need of renovation.

Any extras (bar, telephone, WiFi, …) will be charged to you when you leave the hotel.
The Best Western Pannonia Hotel is ideally located in the city centre on a shopping street, a stone’s throw away from the conference centre.
It was the first hotel built in Sopron in 1893. The building has been renovated many times but still keeps its original classic style. It is part of the Best Western group since 1998.
The charmingly old-fashioned rooms are spacious and of varying size, and they are decorated with old or antique furniture. Some are designed like an apartment with a separate living space.
A homelike and romantic hotel in the historic centre of the city, very close to the conference centre.
This small charming hotel opened around 10 years ago and is housed in a baroque-style building. Its furnishings and atmosphere wonderfully reflect the elegance of the past.
Remains of medieval times lie in the hanging garden situated behind the building. Depending on the weather, breakfast may be taken on the mediterranean terrace.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel.
The rooms are very stylish and nicely decorated with antique furniture. They vary in size but are all relatively spacious.

This is the newest hotel in Sopron. Completely non-smoking, this small hotel is very good value for money.
It offers comfortable rooms that are bright and spacious, and it is walking distance from the conference centre.
The decoration is plain and modern, lacking somewhat in colour, but the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Triple rooms are available and there are a few apartments that can welcome up to four guests.
Five minutes walk from the city centre, the Hotel Sopron overlooks the city and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the historic centre.

Definitely the most modern and luxurious hotel in the city, the Fagus is situated in a calm, green setting at the edge of the Lövérek forest, which is renowned for its subalpine climate of curative and regenerating properties. It has beautiful views on the surrounding nature.
There are three categories of rooms, which have all been decorated in warm colours:
Situated on the Lövér Hills, 100 metres from the Hotel Fagus, the Lövér is surrounded by the forest and has very beautiful views. It is in a calm, green setting and is the starting point for many nature trails.
Overall, the decoration both throughout the hotel and in the rooms is quite outdated. The rooms are relatively spacious and comfortable and most of them have a balcony. However, the bathrooms are quite cramped but acceptable.
The quality of the hotel corresponds to a three-star.
Also near the forest and close to the Fagus and Lövér hotels, the Szieszta is situated in the centre of a park that is five minutes by bus from the city centre.
The rooms are all the same size and design, and they all have a balcony with a view. The decoration is simple in light blue and green shades. Please note that they do not have an actual wardrobe and the bathrooms are small. The hotel itself looks quite worn and faded in places.
The quality of the hotel corresponds more to a two-star. However, it is very good value for money and it offers fitness facilities and beauty treatments that are closer to a three-star.
Excellent value for money, this hotel is situated five minutes from the city centre (15 minutes by foot), right on the edge of the city. It is highly reputed, especially for its dental tourism.
The rooms have a view of either the alps and the Schneeberg (Austria) or the Lövér forest.
They are of a very good standard for a three-star hotel: the atmosphere and the decoration are pleasant. There are two categories: standard and superior. The superior rooms are more spacious and have a bathroom with bath, as well as a minibar.
